Its not a book, but I love Wired magazine.. it has some really inspirational stuff.

Agree! Wired has a wonderful new product section. Do you have edition with the heat sensitive cover? It is green by default and if you press down really hard with your hand your handprint will show up for a bit. I love that one! :-)

Web Design WOW! Book used to be a good one, but I haven't looked at it in a while. This just in: Looks like it hasn't been updated in four years , so this may be one to pass on.

The "Web Style Guide" from Yale is one of the best layout resources I have seen. You can view it online (say FREE) or you can order the book.
