Thought I'd start a topic for everyone to list their favorite color resources out there. I'll start by listing the link to the Pantone homepage.

Any other good color resources out there? Doesn't it just annoy the heck out of you to snag a shot off your desktop and open in PS to eyedrop and read the hex color? C'mon - doesn't someone else have an easier way to do it?

BTW- Viewing Source doesn't count if you don't know what you are looking for.

Thanks - however, I was wondering if there were a utility that uses eye-dropper functionality on any webpage and shows the hex value - as opposed to going to a page with a colorpicker. Photoshop already has the web values as part of the websafe color picker.

I've never seen anything like this before - and I'm probably dreaming. :-)

It sounds like you want something like Pixie. Just run your mouse over any color on your screen and it will tell you the HTML, hex, RGB, CMYK and HSV values of that color.

Best of all it's under 7Kb and it's FREE!
