well.. im going to go get my hair cut at 6pm .... i was just going to get a trim.. but i have had the same hair style (with very little variance) for about 10 years...

i still want the length (or at least most of it... ) any suggestions ?? im going to dig up a picture of my hair (as well as i can)

fo those that dont know.. i have very long (bottom of butt length) red hair, it is naturally curly, but as it is so heavy it is wavy, it is very thick ...

i would definitely get some long layers... break up the mass. don't want to go a bit shorter? the lengths in the pics you posted look nice. a bit more of a modern feel than really long hair.

Time for a change, Wolfie! I like the layered 'do right above the profile shot. Go for it! Be adventurous and daring!

Cut off at least ten inches and donate it to Locks of Love.

which picture ???

i dont mind going a little shorter.. my hair grows very quickly.. i just dont want short ... i think that for right now.. anything too far above my waist will freak me out ... maybe below my shoulder blades if i have faith in the hairdresser.... im *very* vain about my hair... and this is HUGE for me personally ...

I like the third one the best.

One question though. If you cut your hair shorter, will it curl up significantly more? I have long, curly, red hair, too (like a spiral perm naturally). Without some length and corresponding weight, my hair curls up like crazy.

While I like the first two styles, I doubt that you will achieve that effect with curly hair, unless you straighten it daily.

m2b... *L* that is exactly my hair ... it will go curly, but more of a tight rag curl than spiral ... when it is wet it looks fantastic... perfect curls... as it dries.. it gets heavy/frizzy/wavy *L* ..

Leanne, don't cut your hair! Get a trim first and think about it. I'm scared.

but if i dont do it when i get in the mood it will be another 10 years before i get the guts up *L* ...

i have also never been to this hairdresser before.. if i dont get a good feeling from him i wont get my hair touched at all ... (not even a trim)

I like #1 and #3. They're both similar to how I have my hair cut.

Do something different. WTH! It's just hair. It grows back.

Aww Leanne, they should never, ever make you cry over your hair! If you like it, and just need to get use to it, that's 1 reason to cry, but men, never!!! I am sure it looks great hon. WinkSmile
