Black and white photography?

No, that's been done.

The disembodied heads of 3 famous men?

Eh, played out.

Does Canada have anything like the Earned Income Credit?

I made so little money while I was in graduate school that I got paid for working. Of course, I do have a child which makes a difference.

Does any of that make any sense?

I don't know. I know that I have massive amounts of tuition credits saved up, but I'm self employed so I have to pay two times the CPP that most people do, yet they're trying to give back the little CPP that I paid while working at my other job. Confused

I can't imagine. It seems like they would calculate your income as a whole, but if they don't, then you probably didn't earn enough at the other job to owe any tax.
