Mine is Paranoid!!! You probably haven't heard of this band. My very good friend is the lead guitarist for this band!

But my favorite famous bands are, Brand New, Bush,and Nirvana.

I forgot one of my favorite bands too and that is Cake!

Cake. The Videos for Short Skirt/Long Jacket were genius. And their remake of I Will Survive was amazing. I forgot about that in the cover song thread!

Short Skirt Long Jacket is one of my favorite songs...along with The Distance. No one around here has heard of them!

Don't worry. No one knows who Underworld is. Today at school I made some people sit down, read some lyrics, and listen to some of the music. I think I've made them minor fans. Mission accomplished. Or something.

Yeah, that is what I had to do to Randy (my very special friend) to get him to listen to Nirvana. I knew he'd like it...he just had to listen to it!

I know who the Underworld is, just have never heard any of their songs!

David Bowie is, of course, my ultimate favorite.

I like very little, if any, music that has come out since about 1997 or so. After that, things just got icky.

My favorite band is Nirvana, of course. Although "favorite" is putting in very, very mildly.

I like almost all early 90's grunge bands, and early punk bands like The Sex Pistols and the Ramones. What passes for punk today makes me cringe. (I sound like I'm an old woman shaking her finger at a small child-"Listen, whippersnapper, you don't know nuthin'!" )
