Has any thought been given to the creation of sub-forums? I would love to be able to simplify my main groupee page with just a few sections, but within each section break it down into more forums.

It already has groups which can be collapsed to simplify the index view.

How so? Can you please elaborate on this?

Click the icon next to the group name, the forums in that group collapse.

It's a per user setting, and is stored in a cookie so it's remembered

Edit: at least, my collapsed groups are remembered at other forums, but it doesnt seem to work at this one for some reason.

This was supposed to be a part of the large changes first promoted in the spring of 2005 which were publicized for release in summer/fall/winter 2006 and then in the whole transition to 2.0 thing that has taken up pretty much all of 2006, the idea has not been mentioned again by Infopop to the best of my knowledge.

I'd like to see it too and think it should be totally separate from blogs and whatever Eve 2.0 is.
