Us musicians looove groupees!

It would be really handy if software to create discussion posts could be downloaded, and users could check out the format and layout of a post while offline, it being saved continuously - unlike when on-line and a crash occurs! - so that then they can:

SAFELY log on, and paste their well-crafted post without having to triple-check it AFTER it is posted.

Something like: "Offline-BBCode-Prep" tool. Mac version too please buddies? If there already is such a creature point me to it?

THANKS GOOGOLS!

Love and lightness, Teo Do (Re, Mi, Fa..) Surf Tiki Cool Cool

Hi Teo-

One feature that we are adding to Version 2.0 of Groupee Community is the ability to keep drafts of your content. By saving to draft, a user can do just as you say, keep crafting his content (whether it is a topic, photo album, poll, blog, podcast, etc.) and then publish it once he thinks it is ready.

Version 2.0 is currently in development.

I can't tell you how nice it is to get positive feedback for my ideas! Wink

I simply share them for the best for us all!

Don't forget my other ideas I've already shared with you folks:

• Option to make a CD of the web site - 250MB will easily fit on a CD, with plenty of room for software to run the forums offline!

• Option to put image as background to a post (we do this all the time on Givnology.com)

• Option to embed sounds (we do this as well)

• Option to have pages automatically go to another page (I'm putting this and the last 2 into HELP button/page on Givnology, I'll let you all see it when it is done-since you are so appreciative!)

• Option for OUTLINE in font style, in addition to IMAGE UNDER TEXT this will be optimal for readability - example: white border & blue text, etc..

• Options to change invitees of private topics

• Options to put private topics in categories right next to public categories on main page

• Option to drag topic header to post dialog box to make link to topic - instead of copying the URL

AND THOSE ARE JUST THE FREE IDEAS ON THE TOP OF MY HEAD! he he.. Roll Eyes

Thanks for the thanks, and wishing you all continued successes.

Sincerely,

Teo Vincent

Hi Ted,

Did this ever get off of the ground? I sure wish I could save my post as I'm working on it, and preview it! That'll be HEAVENLY!!!

Did you (or any of you whizzes) like any of the other ideas? As a "User Experience Designer" called

The Esign Arts

(Electronic Design)

I have many ideas of creating extremely comfortable environments, personalized with a educational AND entertaining feel and usefulness.

Thanks for this opportunity to share my ideas (they bubble over! Lookie WebPageExperience.com or Givnology.com, so many ideas...)

Sincerely,
Teo Vincent
