PLEASE is there ever going to be a way to shut off the automatic slide show?

Granted I have a personal bias here because the slide show I want to run manually is one I built (pre auto-function). Each photo has a paragraph of text; it is a tutorial and I expect people to read the text. Now that this thing has gone automatic, not only is the text displayed much smaller but it whips by too fast to read.

I would love to see an option to shut off the automated showing!

I can certainly understand why the slideshow is not meeting your need...

Might I suggest creating your tutorial as a topic, and then make the step by step instructions replies to the topic with each image attached to the reply. So you would have the text explaining the process and then the image to exhibit the described steps?

While that is not a perfect solution it sounds like it would be better for your use case.
