It would be great to have a warning pop-up when a mod needs to edit a member's message. There's no way for a mod to know in advance if they inadvertently click the Edit button instead of the Quote button. This can cause a lot of confusion and even anger by members who have their posts accidentally edited/destroyed.

You could make the edit Icon a bit more obvious, or use custom CSS to shift it further to the left:

  margin-left: 15px;
}

I suggest to just change the edit, quote, and delete icon images to button images comparable to those of vBulletin/phpBB (a small image on the left and clear text on the right). You can do this in the style manager under the Eve section in the CP. Hope this could help too!
