Is there a way to feature a post across an entire channel and not just on one forum or across all forums?

In the same vein is there a way to turn the duplicate post option off for admin members? There are times when I need to post the same exact post on a bunch of different forums and it's a pain to have to come up with a different variation to get around the duplicate post filter in Groupee.

Why not use the shortcut feature to get around the duplicate post filter? That also keeps you form having to type the same thing over and over.

I'm not looking to feature the post on ALL the forums... just on selective forums... and usually on specific channels.

Hi, Irina: You can do that!

Click the Admin tab at the top of the forum where your announcement is already posted, and click Manage Topic. Choose the radio button for Create Shortcut in, and your list of forums will pop up. You can select whichever forums you want the announcement to appear, and then click Select. Note that you can select multiple forums.

One more quick question. If I have it as a Featured Post in one forum and then create a shortcut in additional forums will it also appear as a Featured Post in those forums?

OK, looks like you can make shortcuts in multiple forums, but if you want them to be featured, they need to be posted individually (unless you are featuring in ALL forums).
You can feature across all or one, but not some. But you can do shortcuts for several, and not all, if you like. They just won't stay at the top, like featured posts.
