I'm told that Groupee will be taking our board down in a few days for maintenance. How can set up a custom message to let users know that the board will be down temporarily?

For our shared customers there is unfortunately no way to tell your users other than to prepare them in advance. There are so many shared customers on so many IP addresses that setting up a page for them would cause significantly more downtime, perhaps double.

For our dedicated and enterprise customers, because there are fewer of them using a smaller number of IP addresses we will be putting up a generic page explaining that site maintenance is occurring. You still want to be sure to tell them in advance and post something on your main site as there will be periods where that page will also be down too.

There isn't a way to make a custom page as all the IP addresses will be going to the same page.

I did a mass email, and posted something in the forums. I just wanted to see what else I could do.

As long as Groupee will post something that says the site is down for maintenance, we should be fine.
