I am trying to bring my site to life again, and I now have problem where everyone has to register before they are allowed to look through the forums. Is there a setting somewhere that I have missed that forces registration? I'd like to turn it off.

In your control panel >> Memebers >> Permissions Snapshot >> under the Groupee Community Personal Permissions >> make sure that General Groupee Community Access is checked for both Guests and All Members.

Denise, both boxes are checked. I'm still getting the same problem.

Check the permissions on your individual forums. The forums may be all restricted to members only.

Otherwise you can submit a support ticket and we can sign on and take a look.

I'll bet your start page is set as the forums summary page (../groupee/forums). To view that you will also need to grant "General Access" (under Forums > Personal Permissions) to Guests & All Members.
