How do I put content that will be viewable when someone goes to a category page, but not have that content be in the category description on the main forum page? Basically I want to be able to do the same thing with a category page that I can do with a forum page with the "intro wording" space.

There is currently no "Intro Wording" feature for categories, which is what you would need in order to achieve this functionality.

I've put in a feature suggestion on your behalf. If it is accepted, you'll see it in a future version of eve.

There isn't a field for Categories that is equivalent to the intro wording on a forum. However, you could achieve the same thing by creating a style and inserting your desired text into the HTML portion of the style. Then, you would just assign that style to your category.
