A customer brought it to my attention that when the forum boards are visited, and then returned, the new posts indicators are updated, or showing as read. Is this a forum setting, browser setting, or? It's not working for me either in Firefox or IE7/8.

Are they all showing up as new or all shown up as read?

The "New Since Last Visit" feature uses your cookies to keep track of when you visited the site. So, for example, if you clear your cookies, you'll basically wipe away the current record, which would mean that you'd get tons of results.

Additionally, we mark all posts as "new" for roughly an hour after you initially visit the site. So, there will be at least an hour where posts will show up as new, even if you read them.
