Will there be the feature of being able to click on a member name from the "Online Now" list and invite them to Chat...realtime?

Are the smilies currently disabled in the beta? I only see the available. Also, when selecting the 'Tools' icon, the available options that appear....disappear as soon as I try and select any of them! This is with IE 6 with all the latest patches on XP SP1 and 2k SP4.

Here's another vote for the feature request to be able to include the members Avatar in the Chat window vs. the default Infopop icons.

It would be nice to have clickable URL's when included in the chat.

Enable word wrap, long posts don't wrap.

If someone just closes the browser window vs. clicking on 'Close [x]' - are they detected as having left the Chat session? If not, consider it a feature request!

Disable focus switching...when the Chat window is open and you are temporarily working in another browser window...Chat switches the focus back to the Chat window...approx. every 15 seconds...this is very annoying!

The chat is not instant messaging, so an invite to chat now is not supported currently. Basically, chat rooms have to be added by chat admins in the control panel.

The graemlins are not working currently-- that is just a bug.

The tools display issue is also a known bug.

The avatars CAN be displayed inthe caht rooms- that is a chat room setting. Chime creates min-versions of the member avatars when this option is enabled.

can u have more than one chat room?

Yes- there is no built-in limit to the number of rooms you can create. I should say though that currently a user can only have one chat room window open at a time. That is more of a browser issue (bug), however, that we hope to fix prior to official release.
