We had a member report that she changed her log-in e-mail address to a "new" address and is already getting some SPAM.....are these addresses sold on some sort of list?

I assure you, we are most certainly NOT selling the addresses! The only explanation I can think of is that she's also using that email address elsewhere.

A lot of spammers will just try random letter combinations for common domain names trying to get a hit.

Depending on how popular the mail provider is and how simple the address, you can start getting spam without ever signing up for anything.
