We've got a custom field we added to the user registration system (it asks them if they are subscribers to our magazine), and we'd like to run a report to see how many of our users answered 'Yes' to that question.
I can't figure out how to do this in the control panel. Any help? |

Hi, Winehook.
There is no way to search the custom field specifically through the eve control panel. You can do a "Profile Keyword" search (Eve CP > Eve > Members > Profile Keyword) for the word "Yes", but there's no way to guarantee that those results would be perfect. If you have web services, you could also try using phpMyAdmin. This is much more involved. If you're interested in trying this, please enter a support ticket. Paul Gude Groupee Guide |

Paul:
Thank you for the quick response! Now that I'm thinking about it, maybe the easiest thing to do would be for us to get a big old export of all the user data -- then I could slap it into Excel or something and run whatever queries I need against it. Is that a more straightforward process? Dave V. |

That would be the web services control panel phpMyAdmin option I mentioned earlier.
Let's continue this in a support ticket: https://www.infopop.com/q/q.php Paul Gude Groupee Guide |
