Is there a way to ban a block of IPs rather than just one at at time? Instead of blocking 1.1.1.0 - 100 for example, can I just use 1.1.1.* or 1.1.1?
We are getting a group of spammers that appear to be coming from the same block of IPs. Any other ideas to block these people would be helpful. Please advise. Thanks, |

For blocking IP addresses, matching is based on the number of octets you include, starting from the left.
If you enter “127.”, you would be matching against all IPs that start with 127. Similarly, if you enter “127.12.”, you would be matching against all IPs that start with 127.12. So, in the example you give above, entering "117.47." cover any address that begins with 117.45. So, in the example you give above, you'd put: 1.1.1. Paul Gude Groupee Guide |
